Mishawaka Utility Board approves right-of-entry agreements for new 16-inch water mains

The Mishawaka Utility Board approved two right-of-entry agreements presented by Mr. Majewski that grant the City of Mishawaka Utilities access to private property for investigation, engineering and construction of new 16-inch water mains.
At the first presentation Mr. Majewski said the property owner listed as Mish RE LLC (in some paperwork updated to “Mish 10”) is granting the utility, its employees, agents and contractors right of entry to install a 16-inch water main underneath the Indiana Toll Road along the west perimeter of the property. "I respectfully ask the Utility Board to accept and sign the right of entry document," Mr. Majewski told the board; the motion to approve was seconded and approved by voice vote. The board noted it would verify LLC naming details with the Department of Local Development.
A second right-of-entry for property at the corner of Capital Avenue and Cleveland Road was presented to permit investigation, engineering, construction laydown and installation of a 16-inch water main along the south and east perimeter; that request was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
The board also approved an update to Utility Board meal allowances effective April 1, 2026, and approved eight claim dockets totaling $1,704,127.66. No public comments were offered and the Utility Board adjourned.
