A representative of the LA County Sheriff’s Department provided a limited enforcement report for March and April covering traffic citations and supplemental overtime enforcement.
Staff reported that the period saw roughly 37 regular citations, plus an additional supplemental enforcement effort that produced about 34 supplemental contacts for speed violations; stop‑sign violations in the two‑month span included 18 tickets (six resident, 12 non‑resident at the identified intersection). Commissioners asked about whether violations were mostly resident or non‑resident and about specific problem locations; the deputy and staff identified Portuguese Bend, Crest Road and Eastfield as recurring spots for speed and stop‑sign violations.
The commission moved to receive and file the report.
