Council approves $60,000 settlement in federal case after executive session

City counsel told the council the session complied with Title 25 Oklahoma Statutes §307(B)(4), the provision permitting consultation with legal counsel on pending claims. The motion to approve the settlement passed unanimously.
What happens next: The city will execute the settlement documents and record the judgment placement on the sinking fund.
