The board unanimously approved hiring Preston Remiger as a part-time cadet for the Sheriff’s Department on a Non-Union Salary Schedule (Grade 7 Step 1) at $19.09 per hour, effective Jan. 17, 2025. The board acknowledged the resignation of Deputy Mitch Zimmerman, effective Jan. 3, 2025.
The board also authorized County Administrator Vicki Kletscher to sign a severance offer for J. Mertens, effective Jan. 3, 2025, and approved an authorization for County Attorney Shannon Ness to have a county credit card.
