The Redwood County Board voted Jan. 7 to designate the county website (https://redwoodcounty-mn.us/) as the place for publishing transportation contract notices, consistent with Minn. Stat. 331A.12. The resolution requires the county to also publish annual notice in a qualified newspaper and to maintain a permanent, publicly accessible record of web postings.
During the same portion of the meeting the board approved Road & Bridge bills totaling $32,589.49, which included larger invoices from vendors such as JD Plumbing & Heating, Keck Tree Service and Zimmermann Maintenance. The board recorded the amounts and approved the payments by motion.
The board also authorized the Highway Engineer to pay miscellaneous permit fees for projects as required in 2025, delegating routine permit-fee payments to staff for efficiency.
The website-publication resolution requires the county to ensure alternative dissemination methods are substantially similar and to keep permanent records of postings; the board adopted the measure by unanimous vote.
