Votes at a glance: St. Marys council approves utility-opposition resolution, CHIP partnership and several procedural motions

The St. Marys City Council approved several formal actions at its meeting, including a resolution opposing a utility company'9s request to raise distribution rates and an ordinance to pursue a Community Housing Impact and Preservation (CHIP) grant partnership.

The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn that carried.

The council did not take final action on a proposed moratorium on data centers; that item was set for additional reading at a future meeting.
