Board to 'take under advisement' Crocker property appraisal pending further review

Board members noted nearby land uses (railroad, farmland, Westwood Park and the Prairie Duneland Trail) and discussed that one adjacent parcel on the north side of the railroad is privately owned and industrially zoned but used as farmland. No formal motion to hire a second appraiser was made; the chair suggested members contact Tyler with questions and defer immediate action.
The decision was procedural: the board did not direct staff to obtain a second appraisal and left the item under advisement for further consideration.
