Neighbors raise parking and safety concerns as students overflow onto March and Robin Hill roads

"It's becoming a public safety issue because the roads aren't really built for that," he told the committee and asked the schools to partner on solutions.
He described local conversations that considered a morning parking ban, targeted enforcement, and increased police presence but warned that time-of-day bans may simply shift the problem later. The Select Board will return to the issue on June 8 and invited school-committee members and parents to participate.
Committee members asked about police support and traffic-flow tweaks at drop-off/pick-up; the Select Board representative said an SRO (school resource officer) and police have engaged students but have limited options without parking restrictions or physical road changes. The committee and town agreed to coordinate further and solicit input from parents and students before proposing policy changes.
