Board members introduced Mr. Raphael Placencia as the district’s new assistant superintendent of human resources and invited him to address the board.
"I want to begin first by expressing my sincere gratitude and the opportunity to serve as your new assistant superintendent of human resources," Placencia said, introducing his wife and family and saying he looks forward to building relationships with teachers, classified staff, administrators and labor partners.
Superintendent Dr. Nicole Wesley welcomed Placencia to the district and noted he would be attending many board meetings as part of his new role.
