Kingston council approves budget amendments, surplus property and water board OKs $33,860 tank renovation

At its regular meeting, the Kingston City Council approved two second/final readings of budget amendment ordinances and several administrative measures, and a subsequent Water Board meeting authorized exterior renovation work on a water tank.

Council voted unanimously on the second and final reading of Ordinance 25211, an amendment to the city’s general fund budget for fiscal year 2024–2025, and on Ordinance 2521102, an amendment to the water/sewer fund budget for the same fiscal year.
