Battery installation for storage at the middle school will be in an interior storage room and should not interrupt learning.
Board members also discussed the referendum budget and contingency planning. Staff said the high school project expanded to accommodate a secure main entrance and elevator, and while that added cost the project remains within budget so far; contractors’ bids and interest-earning on bond proceeds will further clarify the financial picture once construction is underway.
