The Holmdel Township Committee voted on Oct. 28, 2025, to adopt two ordinances on first reading and to schedule public hearings for Nov. 25, 2025.
Bond Ordinance 2025-27 would appropriate $600,000 for improvements to Holmdel Township School District facilities and authorize up to $571,428 in bonds or notes to finance part of the project cost. The motion to adopt on first reading and to publish notice in the Asbury Park Press carried by roll call.
Ordinance 2025-28 would approve a short-term lease for portions of block 10.01, lots 7 and 11 (108 Middletown Road). The committee moved and seconded to adopt on first reading and publish the ordinance for a Nov. 25 public hearing.
Both measures were placed on the Nov. 25 agenda for public comment and further action; the meeting record does not show final adoption or specific contractor/vendor names tied to the projects at first reading.
