The board deemed the application Type II under SEQR and voted to approve the waiver, subject to the applicant coordinating with the building department and the town about any temporary outdoor tents or unusually large events and informing the town in advance of such activities. Board members encouraged the applicant to work with the building department regarding tent permits and to consult the planning department before special outdoor promotions.
The applicant said she is targeting a late August to early September opening and will manage parking with staggered party schedules and use of available lot spaces in the shopping center.
