Commission approves waiver for Paramount Contracting façade work; stormwater plan to go to supervisors

The East Lampeter Township Planning Commission approved a waiver of land-development filing for a façade and site improvement at a local business owned by Paramount Contracting.
Jeff Milan, the owner, introduced the request and told commissioners the project is limited to exterior façade updates, a new concrete pad and modest parking reconfiguration and does not expand the business’s employee count. "My name is Jeff Milan, the owner of Paramount Contracting right down the street," he said. "It's simply just rewriting the look building. It's going to add a new concrete pad and a new facade on the outside."
Township engineering staff told the commission they had met with the applicant and recommended granting the waiver of land-development filing. The applicant had also submitted a stormwater-management plan; staff noted that plan will be heard by the Board of Supervisors at its Sept. 15 meeting.
A motion to approve the waiver for plan 2025-23 was made, moved by John Thompson and seconded by Jason Dan, and approved by voice vote.
The waiver allows the applicant to proceed with design steps without full land-development filing; the stormwater plan will receive separate review at the supervisors' meeting.
