The board also approved a fiscal year 2026 non‑budgeted appropriation of $80,000 from the general fund unassigned balance to hire a design firm to finish design documents, permitting, bid packages and construction administration services for the senior center parking‑lot improvement project.
Staff told the board these transfers fill project balances and allow the town to proceed to contract and bidding phases. Where applicable, staff noted some items are financed in part with capital non‑recurring funds and that additional council action will be required for larger bond items, including a $4 million water control bond expected before the council at its next meeting.
