At its May 26 meeting, the Chickasaw County Board of Supervisors approved a series of personnel pay adjustments affecting custodial and administrative positions.
By motion of Supervisor Breitbach and seconded by Supervisor Hackman, the board approved a 4% hourly increase for part-time custodians Staci Taylor and Cheere Edeker, raising their rate from $17.00 to $17.68 for fiscal year 2026-27. The roll call was recorded as Ayes: Breitbach, Hackman, Carter, Cerwinske, Suckow.
The board also approved, by motion of Breitbach and seconded by Cerwinske, a 4% increase to the Land Use Administrator's salary from $7,956.75 to $8,275.02 for FY2026-27, and a 4% increase to the Safety Coordinator's salary from $2,060.00 to $2,142.40. Both motions passed on roll call with all ayes.
The minutes note there was "No action for the clerk in the Auditor's office for a 4% wage increase," indicating the clerk's request was not approved or decided at the meeting.
The board adjourned at 9:58 AM following brief committee-assignment reports.
