Board members pressed staff for contingency amounts, asked whether the changes require rebidding (staff said extensions/expansions to existing contracts do not require rebid under the current thresholds and that the town attorney would confirm legal requirements), and directed staff to prepare the resolutions so the board could act at a special legislative session if needed.
