The Wolverine Lake Planning Commission reviewed the draft budget and voted to forward it to the town council for approval.
Commissioners noted that despite expenses so far the town retains reserve funds and that staff had not identified discretionary items that could be trimmed. "Even after our expenses so far, we still have some reserve and everything's looking good," the chair said during the discussion. Following a motion by Commissioner Frederick and a second by Commissioner Thorne, the commission voted to send the budget to council for consideration.
The commission did not adopt any budget amendments at the meeting; the council will consider the budget at its next appropriate meeting.
