During questions, board members noted the town's tree ordinance prohibits trimming (limbing) trees to make signs visible and asked about illumination; staff confirmed the signs will be internally illuminated with brightness restrictions to avoid spill to neighbors. One board member noted concern about setting a precedent for other dealerships, and staff said sign-district approvals are evaluated case-by-case and are rare.
