Board members asked whether the modification covered the entire park (staff: no, the request covers a small buffer area identified in the field) and whether the feature was a stream or ditch (staff: an intermittent ditch). The staff also raised a potential Verhoff Drive extension as background context, but said any such extension would require a separate full public process and is unlikely in the near term.
A board member asked to add a condition that specimen trees be addressed; the motion was amended to include that language and the planning board recommended approval with minor staff comments.
