The committee also reported an arrest on July 8 of a female suspected of being under the influence; officers seized 27 bags of heroin during that incident, the committee said. In a separate arrest, officers took into custody a suspect recognized from surveillance and recovered stolen property tied to a burglary investigation.
Committee members described the responses as coordinated efforts with regional partners and said investigative work remains ongoing to identify additional suspects. The committee also promoted a family-oriented event on Aug. 6 at the municipal front lawn and thanked staff and volunteers for public-safety support at community events.
The report contained operational call-breakdown figures and thanked officers and civilian partners by name for notable assistance documented in the meeting record.
