Resident warns of safety risks from planned MC Boulevard redesign

The speaker said residents are organizing on social media and that the community will attend the scheduled Aug. 27 meeting to express opposition. The resident asked the board to consider updating intersections or other mitigations rather than the proposed lane reductions.
Board members indicated they would follow up with fire company leadership to solicit formal input; the manager noted staff would attempt to contact the fire chiefs to gather statements on the safety implications.
