On a property tax appeal, a municipal official explained that a parcel previously assessed at a higher value had differing appraisals; the board approved a stipulation setting the assessed value at 92,051 for the 2021 tax year, which the official said will result in an estimated tax reduction of about $1,798.
The board also approved certificates of recommendation to award contracts for the 2024 Road Program, with items listed in the meeting record totaling $642,500 (plus change orders). The meeting record also itemized traffic planning and design work tied to a Green Light Go grant for Fair Road and Jefferson Avenue, shown as $4,988.75; the board approved that expenditure by motion.
Finance staff then presented the monthly bills list and the board approved it by voice vote.
