San Marcos Unified board approves settlement in lawsuit with Lusardi Construction

The San Marcos Unified School District board reported that it approved a settlement in the district’s pending litigation with Lusardi Construction Company and authorized Assistant Superintendent of Business Services Erin Garcia to execute the settlement agreement on the district’s behalf.

According to the readout, the motion to approve the settlement was made by Carlson and seconded by member Ahmad; a roll-call vote recorded each member voting "I." The district said the settlement will occur upon full execution by all parties.
