Members noted the gas company budgeted roughly $30,000 to create additional parking near the pickleball courts, which could also serve a future splash pad. They also flagged overhead power lines across part of the proposed splash‑pad site and said they would consult Ross at Benton Electric to confirm siting constraints and alternate locations.
No formal funding commitment was made at the meeting; members asked staff and engineers to continue planning, pursue grants, and report back as possible.
