The Allentown School District board approved a personnel report that included a slate of administrative hires and promotions and a separate introduction of new leadership.
The personnel slate was approved on a roll call (8–1) after a short discussion. Administration then introduced a list of appointees by name and role. Among the appointments announced was Mister Jack Trent as the district’s chief financial officer; administration described his experience overseeing large K–12 budgets and major construction programs in other districts. The board also introduced new principals, supervisors and human capital/data leaders who will fill roles across schools and central offices.
Board members thanked staff and external partners for negotiating the Teamsters agreement that was ratified earlier in the process and noted the importance of leadership appointments as the district moves into the budget and capital work ahead.
Next steps: HR and the new appointees will complete onboarding and administration will provide the board with any additional personnel paperwork and timelines as part of its regular reports.
