Dodge County Board approves claims, liquor license renewals, reappointment and school resource officer agreement
Summary
At its Aug. 20 meeting the Dodge County Board approved wage and financial claims, recommended two liquor license renewals to the state, reappointed a member to the Board of Adjustment and authorized an interlocal agreement for a school resource officer.
The Dodge County Board unanimously approved wage and hour claims totaling $292,531.36 and financial claims totaling $706,087.96.
The Board received certification from County Clerk Micki Gilfry that no written protests were filed for renewal of two Class C liquor licenses and recommended approval of the renewals for Tavern 30 (7026 Platte River Road, Ames) and Shoreline LLC, dba Tow Line (3120 State Lakes Road, Fremont) to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission.
The Board unanimously reappointed Larry Ruzicka to a three-year term on the Dodge County Board of Adjustment, expiring Aug. 31, 2028. The board also received and granted County Treasurer Winterstein's request to strike delinquent personal property taxes for tax years 2021–2022 from the tax rolls.
The Board unanimously approved an Interlocal Agreement with North Bend Central and Logan View Schools to provide a school resource officer and authorized Chairman Missel to sign the agreement.
