TERC reverses Dodge County Board of Equalization decision in Elkhorn Valley Golf Club appeal

The Dodge County Board of Supervisors, sitting as the Board of Equalization, received correspondence from the Nebraska Tax Equalization and Review Commission informing the county that TERC had reversed the county board's earlier decision in Case No. 22C 0371 involving Elkhorn Valley Golf Club.
County Attorney Hopkins told the board the TERC reversal came after a thorough review by the Assessor's Office that led the Assessor to suggest a lower valuation. Hopkins noted the single-commissioner hearing was held Oct. 16, 2023 and that the decision was received by the county this week.
The board took the correspondence for its record; the transcript does not show further action taken during the meeting on this matter.
