Dodge County authorizes tax sale certificates for unsold delinquent taxes

The Dodge County Board of Supervisors unanimously directed the County Treasurer to place Tax Sale Certificates on delinquent taxes from 2019 and prior through 2023 that were offered for public sale and remain unsold.
County Treasurer Winterstein provided the list of unsold delinquent tax parcels to the Board. The Board adopted a Resolution authorizing Chairman Missel and County Clerk Gilfry to sign the documents required to place Tax Sale Certificates on those accounts. Supervisor Bendig read the Resolution for the record.
The action initiates the county’s next administrative step to recover unpaid taxes through statutory tax-sale mechanisms; the Resolution was adopted unanimously with two supervisors absent.
