The Broken Bow City Council on July 12, 2022, approved a consent agenda that included the June 28 minutes, posted bills and rosters for the Broken Bow Ambulance Service and the Broken Bow Volunteer Fire Department, with councilmembers voting to carry the motion.
Councilmember Larry Miller moved to approve the consent agenda and Councilmember Chris Myers seconded; both Miller and Myers voted aye and the motion carried. The consent agenda included a detailed list of payments and payroll totaling $189,461.74 as recorded in the meeting minutes.
Councilmember Miller then moved, and Councilmember Myers seconded, to excuse Councilmembers David Schmidt and David Baltz; both votes were recorded as aye and the motion carried. Mayor Rod Sonnichsen explained that, because a majority of the council was not present, the council would not enter a closed session.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:01 p.m. on a motion by Councilmember Chris Myers, seconded by Councilmember Larry Miller; both voted aye. The minutes close with an attestation line followed by the entry 'Ka23.'
