The Town Board of the Town of Pittstown on April 13, 2026 reappointed Councilperson Robert Russell to a five-year term as the town's representative to the Eastern Rensselaer County Solid Waste Management Authority (ERCSWMA). Councilwoman Tanya Lipinski made the motion, and Councilperson Jason Eddy seconded; the board voted in favor.
Later in the meeting the board moved to pay the vouchers on Abstract 4 except for voucher number 88; that motion passed. The board then separately voted to pay voucher 88 on a motion by Lipinski, seconded by Eddy. The vote to pay voucher 88 was recorded as Ayes: Robert Russell, Tanya Lipinski, Erin Maxon and Jason Eddy; Abstain: Supervisor Matthew Curley. No Nays were recorded.
Other brief items noted during members' privilege included an update that the town will pursue a new roof for office buildings this month or next and that Jason Eddy is continuing work to update the camera system. Robert Russell also reminded residents that a hazardous waste cleanup run by ERCSWMA will be held April 25 in Nassau and that residents must sign up online or by phone.
