The Bridgeport Charter Township Board on June 4 approved a bid award for the 2024 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation project to D.V.M. Utilities Inc. for an amount not to exceed $229,000.
WWTP Superintendent Sochocki explained the project will reline an old clay pipe sewer line in the Genesee Gardens area and that D.V.M. Utilities was the lowest bidder. The motion to accept the bid and authorize the contract passed by unanimous roll call.
The minutes record the award amount and the project description but do not include the construction schedule or contract terms; township staff are the implementing authority for contract execution and oversight.
