Personnel and administrative actions included acceptance of the retirement of Tom McGuire (Chief Building and Zoning Officer) and authorization for the Township Manager to advertise the vacancy; approval of emergency services applicants contingent on medical and background clearances; approval of the Parks & Recreation seasonal hires listed on Attachment A; and authorization for the solicitor to advertise an ordinance to create the Hempfield Development Authority. Energy procurement agreements for electrical and natural gas supply were also approved for 36‑month terms.
All of the above motions carried by recorded 5‑0 votes; no motions failed or were tabled during the session. The meeting adjourned at 7:51 p.m.
