Trustees recommend switching to Agenda Quick as Novus/Granicus service ends

Staff told the board that Novus Agenda (recently acquired by Granicus) will cease service and that the village solicited proposals from three vendors: CivicPlus (current web provider), Granicus (owner of Novus) and Agenda Quick. A staff review group recommended Agenda Quick because it offered the lowest price and a user interface close to the current system, which should ease transition.
Staff said the vendor agreed to contract edits reviewed by Mary, and trustees asked that the contract authorization be placed on the next regular meeting agenda so the village can sign and begin transition ahead of the Jan. 1, 2025 service change.
Trustees noted archival access: IT staff preserved historical agendas as PDFs and confirmed those will be posted to the website; the new system will provide slightly different behavior (fewer embedded HTML item pop-ups) but retains access to prior materials.
The board did not authorize an immediate contract at the Nov. 12 work session but directed staff to include the item on the upcoming regular meeting so the board can act.
