Bonnie Jensen: ordinance expected on October agenda; summary plan description to be updated

Bonnie Jensen, speaking by phone, updated trustees on a pending ordinance and the pension plan’s summary plan description. She said the ordinance passed first reading in August but did not appear on the September agenda ‘‘due to a slip of timing’’ and that it is expected to be on the October agenda.
Jensen said she had contacted the city clerk and that she will provide the updated summary plan description reflecting the ordinance changes at the board’s next meeting. ‘‘I was waiting for the changes on the ordinance to go through so we could include that in the summary plan description,’’ Jensen said.
No formal action on the ordinance occurred at the meeting; Jensen indicated she will follow up and provide materials at the next meeting.
