At the June 25 Village of Robbins meeting, the board approved several personnel and contract items during open session.
Trustee Tiffany S. Robinson moved and Trustee Michael Collier Sr. seconded approval to swear in two police officers named in the motion, "Gregory Jackson and Corey Maltbia." The roll-call vote recorded Trustees Dyson, Maxey, Robinson, Jackson and Collier as voting in favor, with Trustee Thomas Harper Jr. absent. The motion carried.
Separately, Trustee Gregory N. Jackson moved and Trustee David R. Dyson seconded approval of an agreement with AR/Concepts Inc.; that motion also passed with the same roll call.
Trustee Gregory N. Jackson presented the treasurer's report showing a balance of $655,144.89; Trustee Jackson moved and Trustee Ernest Maxey Jr. seconded approval of the report, which passed by roll call with Harper absent.
No further detail about the AR/Concepts Inc. agreement terms was provided in open session. The board later entered closed session under statutory exemptions for litigation, real-estate matters and personnel.
