Orrin MacMurray, a planning board member, moved to approve the subdivision; Bill Shaughnessy seconded. Chairman Calvin Collins recorded the motion as carried; Mike Piper was absent for the vote.
The property was described in the application as 6.73 acres and the proposal as a two‑lot subdivision. The board resumed the item after it had been tabled on Jan. 16, 2025 because the applicant recused at that meeting. Board members noted final action on the application is due March 19, 2025, creating urgency to act at the special meeting called for Feb. 27.
The approval vote recorded Orrin MacMurray, Bill Shaughnessy, Martha Link and Chairman Calvin Collins as voting in favor; Mike Piper and Dave Carpenter were absent from the meeting. The board did not record any abstentions or opposing votes on the motion to approve SUB2024-11.
Secretary Kathy Pavelock noted the minutes and related correspondence would be forwarded to town officials as required. The board’s next regular meeting was set for March 20, 2025, at which other agenda items including related public hearings will be heard.
