Botetourt County Library Board enters closed session to discuss facility security

The board returned to open session after a subsequent motion by Dr. Brandi Porter, seconded by Ms. Leffel, which carried with the same recorded ayes. Ms. Leffel then moved to certify that only matters lawfully exempt from open meeting requirements and only those identified in the motion had been discussed during the closed session; that motion, seconded by Dr. Beard, was approved by the same vote.
The minutes list Ms. Linda Rottman as an ex officio member and Julie Phillips as library director in attendance; the record does not show them making motions or votes. The meeting was adjourned at 12:50 p.m.
