Lower Alsace adopts Comcast cable franchise and vacates portion of Antietam Road

The Lower Alsace Township Supervisors on July 11 adopted two ordinances: Ordinance 2024-2, authorizing execution of a cable franchise agreement with Comcast of New Mexico/Pennsylvania, LLC, and Ordinance 2024-3, vacating and removing from the township’s topographical survey a portion of Antietam Road as described in Exhibit A.
The ordinances were presented by the Township Manager and Solicitor Kelsey Frankowski and had been properly advertised. Supervisor John Theodossiou moved to approve each ordinance and Supervisor Ann Sellers seconded; both motions carried with both supervisors voting yes.
The meeting minutes do not specify franchise terms or compensation amounts for the cable agreement, nor do they include the exhibit text for the Antietam Road vacation; both items will be available in the township’s ordinance files for public review.
