At a regular meeting Oct. 8, 2025, the Bolton Planning & Zoning Commission approved the schedule of regular meetings for 2026, agreed to provide a letter of support to Recording Secretary Kacie Cannon regarding her resignation, and approved its prior meeting minutes with two abstentions.
The commission reviewed alternative dates after T. Manning noted the November meeting conflicted with Veterans Day and agreed to meet on Nov. 4, 2026 provided the meeting room is available; T. Manning moved to approve the 2026 schedule as amended and T. Robbins seconded. The motion carried 7-0-0. The PZC recorded that the approved schedule will be filed with the Town Clerk's Office as required by statute. Earlier in the meeting Arlene Fiano moved to approve the Sept. 10, 2025 minutes, Diane DeNunzio seconded, and the motion carried 5 yes, 0 no, 2 abstentions (James Cropley and Jeremy Flick).
On personnel, the PZC asked Recording Secretary Kacie Cannon whether a letter of support would encourage her to withdraw her resignation; Cannon said it would if a resolution can be reached at an upcoming meeting with the administration, and the commission agreed to provide a letter of support. The meeting adjourned at 8:55 p.m.; commissioners moved and carried the adjournment 7-0-0. Minutes are to be finalized and approved at a subsequent meeting.
