Bolton wetlands agent to monitor invasive-plant removal at 44 Notch Road after commission recusal

He said removed vegetation would be placed on the south side of the property near an existing shed and could be shredded and used as mulch. The applicant said he would use swaddles to control erosion and sediment during work.
Chair Ross Lally recused from this agenda item because of a conflict of interest. Vice Chair James Loersch moved to delegate the application to the wetlands agent for monitoring; Member Diane DeNunzio seconded. The motion carried with three votes in favor and one abstention.
What’s next: the wetlands agent will monitor the work and follow up if mechanical excavation or different disposal methods are proposed.
