Hancock County supervisors adopt FY2025-26 Budget Amendment No. 3
Summary

The Hancock County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously May 18 to adopt Resolution No. 2026-020, approving Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Budget Amendment #3. Supervisor Gary Rayhons moved the adoption; Chair Osmund “Bud” Jermeland seconded and the motion carried with all supervisors voting “Aye.”
The amendment adjusts several line items and shows a small net decrease in totals: revenues fall from $18,597,889 to $18,596,508 and expenditures from $20,547,634 to $19,871,344. Major line changes included an increase for Roads & Transportation from $7,586,573 to $7,646,573 and a decrease in Capital Projects from $2,191,500 to $1,426,500. Intergovernmental revenue and operating transfers showed only minor movements in the summary presented to the board.
County Auditor Michelle K. Eisenman was directed to file the approved amendment and to establish the necessary accounting records in accordance with the approved schedule.
The board held a public hearing on the amendment, confirmed that the legally required notice had been published and recorded that no written or oral objections were received before the hearing closed.
