Chief Robert Evans reported May police activity (739 calls for service, 10 criminal investigations, six arrests and 70 traffic citations) and said two candidates who passed background checks were offered conditional employment; "one graduated from the academy on June 12th; the other worked for five years for Norristown," Evans said.
