Council approves Sunrise Meadows final plat for 28-lot subdivision

Uniontown The City Council approved Resolution 18-75 to accept the final plat for Sunrise Meadows, a 28-lot subdivision located south of Roosevelt Avenue and east of Sunrise Boulevard.
Chris Bass presented the staff report and said the preliminary plat was approved previously by ordinance 27-88 and that the final plat review is limited to verifying that conditions of the preliminary approval were satisfied. Bass reported that streets and frontage improvements, sidewalks, utilities, performance and maintenance bonds, and required certificates have been posted and accepted by the city engineer.
"Each of the requirements the applicant has met," Bass said, recommending that council find the improvements and requirements for final plat approval have been met and indicate approval through passage of Resolution 18-75. Council moved and approved the resolution by voice vote.
The approval accepts the final plat map and authorizes the city to record the map and rely on posted bonds and certificates consistent with Title 17 requirements.
