Board Solicitor Joanne O’Connor reviewed each resolution for the board before votes were taken. The board first memorialized Resolution 2024.13, related to the Conway in‑ground pool and pool house at 2 Constitution Drive. The board then memorialized Resolution 2024.14, related to an addition and shed at 23 Shenandoah Lane. Motions to memorialize both resolutions carried with unanimous aye votes from the nine members present.
The board also memorialized Resolution 2024.15, which references Southampton Township Ordinance #2023‑04 (adoption of Chapter 19, Pinelands Development, and Chapter 21, Waste Disposal/Pollution Control/Stormwater Management). After a brief discussion, the board voted that Ordinance 2023‑04 is consistent with the Southampton Township Master Plan. Similarly, Resolution 2024.16, concerning Ordinance #2024‑13 to create Chapter 26 (tree removal and mitigation tied to State of New Jersey stormwater regulations), was memorialized and the board found Ordinance 2024‑13 consistent with the master plan.
Each motion was moved and seconded in turn (motions by Mr. Murphy, Mr. Heston and Mr. Kavanagh as noted in the record) and recorded as unanimous among the nine members present: Ms. Conover, Mr. Coyle, Mr. Hagerthey, Mr. Heston, Mr. Kavanagh, Mr. Keebler, Chairman Magazzo, Mr. Mattio and Mr. Murphy. Two members — Mr. Raftery and Mr. Kennedy — were absent.
The board’s actions memorialize the formal records for the resolutions and forward the ordinances’ Section 26 consistency findings as part of the local review process. The measures approved or found consistent are expected to be reflected in the township’s regulatory code and the record provided to other municipal bodies as required by local procedures.
