The approval includes a title change to “Superintendent of Education, Innovation and Community Education,” which the board said reflects an expanded role in technology budgeting and community education.
Board members praised the administration’s work, emphasizing grant‑seeking, fiscal stewardship and program growth. Griffin and other members offered endorsements of the superintendent’s leadership during public commentary. The motion to approve the superintendent contract and resolution and the cabinet renewals passed by roll call; no dissenting votes were recorded. The board said the contracts are intended to promote long‑term stability and sustained performance for Bedford Public Schools.
