The Londonderry Library Board of Trustees voted at its reorganizational meeting to install new officers and to accept a trustee resignation.
Nancy Hendricks was nominated and approved as chair after a roll-call vote of those present. Trustees then approved the nominations of Beth as vice chair, Erica Lowi as secretary and Azra Pelo as treasurer. The motions for vice chair and secretary were explicitly moved and seconded on the record; the meeting record shows each motion carried by the trustees present.
The board also accepted a letter of resignation from trustee Liz Thomas, submitted March 10 and effective immediately. The resignation letter was made available at the meeting for members of the public and trustees to review.
The board welcomed the incoming officers and noted a busy agenda for the year, including revisiting bylaws, personnel policy, and financial procedures. No additional formal votes were taken on other policy items at the meeting.
The board scheduled follow-up items for future meetings, including committee appointments and a plan to update banking signatures to reflect the new treasurer.
