Sarah Bowman, Boonville’s zoning administrator, told the board the project at 613 Division Street is the veterans’ house being redeveloped by the Jamie Sheath Foundation and financed through People’s Bank. Bowman said the sewer work within the city’s portion is ready to proceed and requested payment of the first half of the invoice so the contractor can begin; the board approved $6,250 now, with the remaining $6,000 to be invoiced on completion.
Bowman said the work had been previously approved by the board of works and that the invoice being considered represented the city’s portion of the street cut and connection. The board approved the payment by voice vote and asked staff to obtain a W-9 for the contractor.
