Town staff reviewed supplemental 41B for managed IT services and said three proposals came in at roughly $88,000, $70,441 and $51,000 annually. Staff recommended budgeting the median amount so the draft budget would cover a plausible outcome while allowing the board to confirm contract terms after June 30.
"I have the 88,000, the 70, and the 51. And that puts a median average of $70,441," a member of staff said while summarizing the bids. Members discussed using the computer reserve to cover any residual if the town selects the highest bidder, and staff said current contracts through the end of June would cover interim work.
Board members asked clarifying questions about the supplemental and said they were comfortable budgeting the median figure while staff completes bid tabulation and follow‑up with vendors. No final vendor selection was made during the workshop; members agreed to revisit the contract award after further review.
