Trustees asked about pedestrian accommodations and inspection logistics. Staff described options for LED lighting colors and said divers and the original Swedish manufacturer would be consulted for structural inspection; the village plans to use local divers where financially prudent. Terry also described adding trash cans and planning secure benches at docks to reduce litter and vandalism, and recommended a dock inspection between August and September.
No formal board vote on bridge construction or funding allocations took place during the meeting; trustees were briefed on the grant award and next steps for permitting and design.
